Elementary Teachers

Heartwood Public Charter School is seeking teachers for the 2025-26 academic school year! Heartwood is a Nature & Place-based K-8 school in Jefferson, New Hampshire. We strive to provide a joyful learning environment where students and teachers are valued for their unique contributions to our community. Our teachers are willing to learn about Nature and Place-based education, and are nurturing, reflective, and creative problem-solvers who are committed to our community and our school’s Mission. Teacher certification or three years teaching experience is preferred.

Heartwood has a four-day school week for students, leaving Fridays each week for teachers to plan, prepare, and collaborate.

Annual Salary: $46,465
