Heartwood’s 2nd Annual Outdoor-a-thon!

We’re excited to launch a school-wide fundraiser beginning June 1st, and we need your help!

Students in grades K–8 are challenged to spend 26 hours outside—and we know you can do it!

Here’s how it works:
Each student finds a few sponsors—neighbors, friends, or family members—who are willing to donate a set amount of money for the full 26 hours spent outdoors. This is not a per-hour sponsorship; instead, sponsors simply choose a total amount they’d like to give.

For example:
One person might sponsor you for $10 Another might give $5, $20, or even more!

Students will collect the donations from your sponsors once they’ve agreed to participate, and all money should be turned in by June 1st, the first day of our Outdoor-A-Thon Challenge. This is a community effort, and there’s a special reward for the classes that raise the most funds!

The top fundraising class from the Farm House and the top fundraising class from the Schoolhouse will each win a trove of treasures!

Spending time outdoors is fun and healthy—and this is a great way to show others how much we love being outside while supporting our school!

Let’s get outside and make a difference!
