Board of Trustees

Allysia Guy (Trustee); MD RDMS, is a mother of three and a practicing board certified Emergency Medicine physician. She moved to the North Country shortly after the birth of her first child after serving as Director of Emergency Ultrasound at Lincoln Hospital in NYC and at Brown University in Providence, RI. She now serves as an assistant Director of EMS in Wolfeboro NH and owns a naturopathic candy company. When she is not in the ED she spends time on her family farm, raising sheep, growing food, snowboarding and atv-ing.

Brogan Carson (Trustee)  is a native of the North Country. While growing up around the woods and lakes of New Hampshire, he developed a respect and connection to nature. In the White Mountains, Brogan and his wife, Kelly, live, work and raise a family. Brogan started out in the carpentry field in the North Country learning skills of the building trade. From there, Brogan earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where he found his passion. Working in the mental health field in the North Country has brought him closer to those who live in the community. Brogan works with children and adults, families and individuals. He is passionate about doing his part for the north country to thrive as he believes the wellbeing of a community is reliant on the health of the individuals in it. In addition to being a proud parent of a Heartwood student, Brogan respects Heartwood’s ability to allow for natural exploration and learning while instilling appreciation for the natural world. Brogan and his family enjoy being part of the Heartwood community and he is proud to be part of the Heartwood Board and a member of the North Country Community.

Ben Hardy (Trustee, Chair); BA English/Film is a father and small business owner in the media and marketing industry. Dana Holcomb (Trustee) is a mother of four, photographer, small business owner, and vice president of the Littleton Studio School Board. Dana, along with her family, made the move to New Hampshire in 2018 and quickly found her heart captured by the beauty and people of the North Country. Beyond her many roles, Dana enjoys quality time outdoors with her kids and husband, soaking in the natural beauty of the White Mountains. Her interests extend to quilting, painting, crafting, reading, music and the arts.

In addition to spending time with her husband, son and pup, Marissa's interests also include painting, photography, and camping. She also served as a board member for Sunnybrook Montessori School in Lancaster. Marissa is proud to call the beautiful North Country her home.
